High Heels

Sometimes we want our feet to look pretty – we get it!

When choosing a heel of over 2.5cms, there are certain features you can look for in a shoe which will improve your comfort and ability to walk.

My top tips:

  • Opt for a shoe with a forefoot made of soft materials, free of seams, and without small straps.
  • Opt for a shoe that has a flatter section for the heel bone to ‘sit’ on – this means less pressure is born at the front of your foot.
  • If needed, wear an insole that supports the arch of your foot. This can correct faulty mechanics and also spread the load out to areas apart from the heel and forefoot.
